On its way to recovery from the economic crisis, the world will need more energy. And new energy comes through people, ideas and technology. These will all meet at DEVEX 2010, the major geoscience conference in Aberdeen (U.K.), the oil capital of Western Europe and one of the key locations where oil professionals meet every day to discuss tomorrow’s investments.

The event has grown every year from its conception in 2003. 2009 was the biggest conference to date with over 350 attendees from over 30 countries listening to 48 technical papers. A lively exhibition featured 26 companies. The programme was designed to allow ample interaction between staff from oil companies and service providers, as well as between industry professionals, students and staff from universities, service laboratories and contract-research providers. Overall feedback from DEVEX 2009 was positive but we have taken on board the comments received in order to make DEVEX 2010 even better!

This year we are offering a range of premier sponsorship packages in addition to the specific items that have been offered in previous years.  The packages are ranked platinum, gold, silver and bronze and as there are limited numbers available they are being offered on a first come first served basis.

Exhibit at DEVEX 2010

The exhibition side of DEVEX is very important and each year we strive to improve the exhibitor experience.  We plan to continue with the six break format with all catering being served in the exhibition hall.  In addition to this, we will be enhancing the standard Ice Breaker Reception to make it a longer more substantial event therefore offering more time for exhibitors and delegates to mix.  Other exciting initiatives like the 2009 treasure hunt are also being planned to stimulate technical interaction.

In recognition of the current economic climate the cost of the exhibition stand package has been held at the 2009 rate of £1,100 + VAT for a 3m x 2m unit.  Multiple units can be purchased if a larger space is required.
